Hikvision CCTV using Edge (With IE Mode)

The following should only need to be done once Per PC.

1. Open Edge, Click the 3 Dots in top Right, Select Settings:

2. Select Default browser, under ‘Allow Sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode’ Select Allow.

3. Browse to your CCTV Webpage and Login to Hikvision

4. On the Live View Page, Click the 3 Dots in top Right, Select ‘Reload in Internet Explorer Mode’

5. The page will Reload, when prompted, Toggle the switch to ‘on’ for ‘Open this page in Internet Explorer Mode Next time

6. When Prompted to run the Video Add-on Click allow:

7. You may be prompted to Update Plugin, if so click OK and then click Run

NOTE: you only need to update plugin once Per PC, subsequent times you can click cancel.

8. Once Plugin has installed Login to Hikvision and click ‘Play All Live View’

If Live View is still not working proceed to step 9

9. If Live view still doesn’t work, click ‘configuration’ along the top, Click ‘Local’, Enter Encryption Key, click ‘save’ and then return to Live View.

The following should only need to be done once Per PC. Subsequent CCTV Access should not need the above steps to be carried out.

To verify your in IE Mode, the IE Symbol should be in top left:
