The 3CX Windows App can operate in 2 Ways:

1. Softphone Mode
2. CTI Mode

Softphone Mode:

This is when you have a Headset connected to your Computer allowing you to make and receive calls via the 3CX App as a Softphone.

CTI Mode: 

CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) Mode is when the 3CX Windows App Controls your IP Desk phone rather then acting as the phone itself.

This means any call you make from the 3CX App on your PC will ring from your Desk phone.

To Enable CTI Mode:

1. Open 3CX Windows App, Select Settings:

2. Under ‘Desk phone Control’, Change from Softphone to the Relevant Phone/Device as per below:
